This is my first post so let me start, by telling me about myself.
My name is Berlin, "you from Germany?" as what other people I've encountered would ask me. And yes, my name comes from the former Capital City of Germany. My Tatay Aries named me as a reminder that reading literature and social study is a must!
By the way, I am the second daughter after the youngest child (Bunsutil kuno!)
I grew up in Manila and was raised by my "Nanay Rosie."
Some relatives of mine would call me "Duday." Simply because they always said: "Bigay mo na kung anong gusto nyan at baka magwala pa!" Yes po, it was a "do-or-die" situation for them whenever I want some thing and they would tell me: "Hindi pwede." Kaya wala silang choice but to hear my scream, shout, and a loud cry kapag hindi ako nasunod. And eventually, sumusuko sila.
I played a lot during my childhood days from simpleng bahay-bahayan, taguan, patintero, luto-lutuan (Yes po ulit, our neighbors would shout at me telling me to stop picking their plants and flowers as i used them in cooking Ha ha ha!), black 1,2,3, agawan base, tumbang preso, etc. I have not played trumpo kasi pag tumitira ako "supot kumbaga." But I played sipa (for girls), jackstone, sungka, paperdolls, goma, holen, tao-tauhan, and that so-called text (favorite: Ghostfighter and pogs." Sabi nga nila: "batang kalye" daw ako. I don't mind them! I was happy playing with the boys and girls around me. And Yes po ulit, I often get hit by so many things because of all these games including tsinelas, walis tambo, walis tingting, hanger, and the most painful one kurot sa singit ni Nanay. Not that all, I was even kick out of the house for going home late at night at the age of 9 years old! Too playful indeed! (Blame it to the dollhouse and barbie doll!). Anyway, I slept at my Tita Amphie's house whenever I am being kicked-out (Ha Ha Ha!)
I am fond of disney movies, and up to know that I am turning 30, I still watched them all. I love rom-com movies, that's the reason why I am being so romantic and comedian all wrapped into one.
Speaking of rom-com..
They said: Only Fools Rush In, so I followed them. After that, I lost my first love at the age of 18 years old. But that would be okay, God knows, the right person, at the right time and right place would eventually come. I may not know him yet, but I am not that desperate though.
I am happy being alone. With my work load, studies and a small business in my hands, how can i entertain someone?
Anyway, the above pictures was an old picture of mine. I choose "Black and White", because I believe there are two colors of life. The black color is the absence of color, and is a mysterious one. We came from different family, we have our own kind of story, we survived trials. We get into troubles, made mistakes, have a wrong-decisions in life. But that doesn't mean it's time for us to quit. Always remember that there is white color. There is light among those negative and evil things that surrounds us. There is always an end in every painful situations.
Despite of all, there is "HIM" and we should not worry.
